In focus: What it is like working as a Digital Specialist according to Peder?

Meet Peder Wehtje

Born and raised in Stockholm, Peder started at an early stage in his life working for the family business he’s grown up with. During years of exploring different departments in the company, Peder became an expert in E-commerce. After finishing his studies in Communication Strategy in Stockholm and Business administration in Münich, Peder’s curiosity about growing businesses digitally led him to seek a position at Nimble.

“Before, when knowing little about digital growth, I believed that digital marketing was putting up ads in different media. What I have learned is that good digital marketing is far more complex. But with the right resources, as we have at Nimble, we can generate through-the-roof results to any company.”

What does a normal day look like at Nimble?

I have a hybrid role at Nimble, where the different areas I work with include SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Business Development.

So, on a typical day, I might:

• Keep track of the outcomes from the previous week for several of our Google Ads accounts.
• Take action and optimize based on the insights I’ve gained after analyzing an account. This could be for example A/B testing of copy, creatives or extensions.
• Elaborate with the SEM team, on new ways of taking advantage of opportunities and optimizing our current client accounts. 
• Discuss SEO with the other specialists to improve positionings on the search engine result page
• Lunch and meetings with key stakeholders from interesting businesses discussing growth, data and strategy opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Discuss and act on commercial opportunities with the Nimble Business Development team to further improve Nimble awareness and engagement from existing/potential partners.

What makes me proud of working here would be the kind and extremely brave and clever colleagues, as well as the diversity of companies that I have had the opportunity to work with that entrust us with their growth.
